This review is based on phone order and take out. We drove through Tracy and decided to get take out along the way. Also, note that this restaurant is under new management and the restaurant is now called "White Peony". Phone service was friendly. I appreciated the suggested options since the menus are different now. We ordered the vegetable chow mein, king pao chicken and beef with broccoli. Pick up took a bit longer than expected. Service was friendly and I appreciated that they asked which utensils we needed for take out. We appreciated the appetizer with our meal. The kung pao chicken had a nice kick of spice. The beef with broccoli had good flavor. Of course, we enjoyed the vegetable chow mein. It was a good meal overall along our Roadtrip.

It has been awhile since I've been here. I went with family for dinner and had a great experience, as usual. We started off with the Wor Wonton Soup which has lots of wontons, in a delicious broth with chicken, shrimp and veggies. One bowl was a perfect start for the 4 of us. We had the Moo Shu Pork which was great. The combination of the pork and Hoisin sauce with the crunch of the veggies when you bite into the mixture inside the pancake is perfect. The Pineapple Prawns were a hit. First time I've had them. Good sized prawns and the pineapple sauce isn't too sweet. The Garlic Chicken is in a tasty sauce, with a hint of ginger and perfect with the House Fried Rice. The decor is simple and clean. The pricing very fair to the large portion size. We were surprised how inexpensive our meal was. The servers were quick when you asked for something. I'll be back next time I'm in town.

Was coming into Tracy for dinner with a few friends. Our normal spot was closed so I phoned in an order at Mandarin Villa. Explained over the phone there was 5 of us and asked for help selecting items. We went with pork fried rice, chicken chow mein, almond chicken, beef broccoli, sweet and sour pork and cream cheese wontons. Very helpful and patient with all my questions over the phone. I had too much food in our order, she advised where to cut back and was helpful. I parked and ran in, dinner was waiting for me when I got to the counter. It was still pretty early so it was quiet in the restuarant. Got to our friends house, had dinner buffet style. Everyone was satisfied with the food, we all had large helpings and had plenty left over. We waiting about 25 minutes after I arrived to have dinner. Food was still hot. The sauces got a little sidways on the drive, the bags held all the juices in but it was a bit messy. We collectively loved the flavor of the chicken and the beef. The sweet and sour pork was a bit too bready and not very meaty. Sweet and sour sacue was tasty. The chow mein was fabulous, fried rice had good flavor. I would come back and eat here again. It was a nice change from our normal and I would like to try some different dishes.

The food is super fresh and soooo delicious. I could eat their chicken salad every day! I highly recommend you try it, you won't be disappointed. I've previously had the lemon chicken, sweet and sour pork, house fried rice and the Hong Kong noodles, hot and sour soup everything was delicious.
